Hello There!

My name is Christopher Milligan, most people call me Chris. I was born and raised in the great state of Tennessee where I currently reside and have the blessing of serving as a Minister to Children & Students at Meridian Baptist Church in Knoxville.

I can proudly say that I witnessed the loving and saving power of Jesus Christ. And because of the love that I have seen I have no choice, but to share His word. Jesus tells us in the book of John that we have always been loved.

• “I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me. Father, I desire that they also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, to see my glory that you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world.” (John 17:23-24 ESV).

Christ displayed that Love at a moment in time…

• “but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8 ESV).
• “But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved” (Ephesians 2:4-5 ESV).

His love is still there for us today.

• “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?…..No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. ³⁸ For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, ³⁹ nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:35; 37-39 ESV).

And those very same verses imply that the love of God will never be removed from us.

God has loved His people since eternity past. He displayed that love at a moment in time. God continually loves us today. And ultimately God will always love His people.
