“It has been a while since I have taken the time to write a post on here. Honestly, I completely forgot about this page existing. So, I guess I will utilize this post as my second inaugural post. Welcome home! I hope that this page finds you well – and if not, I am sorry. I know that the place is a mess, I have had so much going on recently and never get around to dusting or putting away all of my books. I need to fold that laundry over there, we rarely use that kitchen table anyways. Life is hectic.

I took this photo at one of the most hectic times in my life. In a month where it felt like my entire life was falling apart. After only a mere week had gone by after the passing of my grandmother (the woman who raised me) I found myself housesitting for a friend. I had needed an opportunity to get out of the house and just be alone for a bit. I jumped at the offer to house sit for my friend as he and his wife went to the beach (A final family trip before his reasonably pregnant wife had their first child.) It had been a difficult month – my grandmother had gotten visibly sick and everyone knew what was coming. As the days progressed we, as a family, spent more….”

This is a draft that I began writing back in 2022, a pretty difficult time in my life. It was so difficult and hectic that I apparently found myself unable to even finish the article. I’m so moved to find myself in such a better place in life. The places that God has moved me through to get me to where He was leading me have definitely been difficult, but hindsight shows me that every single one of them was worth it.

Today, I sit in an office at a church that I am now serving at. I am blessed with the opportunity to serve as the Minister to Children and Students at Meridian Baptist Church. I can only simply say thank you, thank you God for all that you have done to bring me here. Even the dark days when I tried to focus my sight on you and still failed, you never did once.
